Designing for Climate Adaptation

This is a piece I authored on the AIA College of Fellows 2015 Latrobe Prize recipient project, Hazel.

Hazel is a piece of software developed to highlight optimal stormwater capture areas in drylands while analyzing complex parameters such as quantities of water infiltrated, greenhouse gas emitted, and economic cost/benefit. It is an incredible project and it was a pleasure for me to write about its conception, results and future potential.
